Learn More About Our Process

After many installations, we've developed a process in order to outline everything you need to know from purchase to installation. Here's what you can expect:

When you’re ready to purchase our countertops:

  1. Measure the width, length and depth of your countertops and fax, email or bring them to us with any drawings you may have. We will give you an initial quote based on these dimensions. (Note: this price is an estimate; all quotes are subject to change dependent upon your final size, materials and specifications).
  2. Your sales representative will make an appointment to show you samples and finalize your client profile. Any special requests such as custom imbeds, aggregates, etc will be addressed at this time.
  3. Please email or fax a signed copy of the final proposal/estimate to us. A deposit of 50% is due at the time of order placement.

Removal of countertops:
We will remove your countertops but cannot be responsible for removal of your electrical / plumbing.

Scheduling:
We will call you within 3 business days from the time you approve the price quote. Appointments are always during business hours on Monday – Friday unless special requests are made for after-hours and/or weekends. If you need to re-schedule, please give us a call one business day prior to cancellation.

Templating:
A template is an exact pattern of your future countertops created by the fabricator who produces it. In order to create an accurate template of your future countertops, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Your cabinets need to be finished and level
  • Your countertops must be removed (unless we have included removal in your contract)
  • You must have finished walls where countertops will be secured
  • All applicable plumbing fixtures, hardware, and cutout templates (stove, sinks, faucets, plumbing openings) must be on site
  • Corbels or support must also be installed
  • Decision maker MUST be present in order to verify and sign off on all countertop details

Installation:

  1. We will call you the business day prior to your installation to verify and specify the range of time the install team will arrive at your home.
  2. Customer is responsible for all plumbing, electrical unhooking and installation.
  3. Please be sure all access and entry ways to your home and work space are clear.
  4. It is also a good idea to turn off any air systems to limit the little dust that is created.

Installation is done by NW Concrete Interiors installers. All seams are filled with color matching epoxy. New installations can typically be completed in about 3 hours. Replacing existing countertops can generally be done under one day. Final payment is due upon installation. You will be left with Care and Maintenance Instructions.

Thank you for participating in this easy-to-follow process. And, thank you for purchasing from NW Concrete Interiors. You are always the most important part of the process!
